１．本誌の目的
本誌は，日本作業療法研究学会の機関誌として，作業療法の関連領域における研究の報告の場を提供することを目的とする．
２．投稿資格
本誌への投稿資格に制限は設けない．
３．投稿記事の種別
投稿記事の種別は，「原著」，「短報」，「実践報告」，「総説」，「その他」で他誌に未発表のものとする．投稿論文は和文および英文を受けつける．
４．原稿の採否
原稿は２名の査読者によって査読し，原稿の採否は編集委員会で決定する．場合により，加筆，修正をお願いすることがある．また編集委員会の責任において，多少の字句の訂正をすることがある．
５．原稿執筆要領
①著者は，著作権や研究対象者の人権の尊重に努める．
② 原稿の形式は表題，著者名，所属，要旨（400字以内），key words（３つ），本文，文献，図表，英文要旨によって構成する．
③原稿枚数：
原 著：10,000字（400字詰め原稿用紙25枚）以内
短 報：4,000字以内
実践報告：原著に準じる
総 説：原著に準じる
その他：原著に準じる
尚，図表は１個を400字（400字詰め原稿用紙１枚）として換算すること
④投稿原稿は，冒頭に種別を明記する．
⑤ 投稿原稿は，全て横書きとして，ワードプロセッサーにてA4の用紙に，40字×20行で見やすく配列する．また，原稿には頁番号をつけること．
⑥ 本文は，原則として，はじめに（緒言），方法，結果，考察，文献等の小見出しをつける（特に「原著」，「短報」の場合）．
⑦ 文章表現は，現代かなづかいとし，数字は算用数字，数量は国際単位系（SI単位）記号を用いる（例；m，cm，mm，ml，kg，cm2など）．
⑧ 外国語名（地名，人名，その他）は，原則として原語を用い，略語はカッコ内にフルスペルで記載する．
⑨ 文献リストは引用文献のみとし，引用順に配列して下さい．著者名は，５名までを記載し，６名以上は“他”とすることを原則とし，表記の形式は以下の例を参照のこと．

⑩ 図・表はすべて表題をつけ，それぞれを本文とは別にまとめ，本文中および欄外に図・表の挿入場所を明示する．図は鮮明でそのまま製版できるものを準備する．引用・転載の図・表は，それぞれの出典を明記する．
⑪英文要旨は2,000字以内（表題，著者名，所属を含む）にまとめ，著者の責任において，適正な英文原稿を提出する．
⑫本誌に採用された論文の著作権は，日本作業療法研究学会に属する．
⑬人を対象とする研究は，ヘルシンキ宣言の倫理原則に則り，所属機関等の倫理審査委員会の承認を得て実施されたものでなければならない．論文中には，倫理審査委員会名および承認番号（該当する場合）を明記すること．また，研究対象者に対して研究の目的および内容について十分な説明を行い，自由意思による同意（インフォームド・コンセント）を得たことを記載すること．
症例報告や画像などにおいて個人が特定される可能性がある場合には，個人情報保護に十分配慮し，必要に応じて対象者の同意を得ること．
動物実験を含む研究は，所属機関の動物実験に関する指針に従い倫理的に実施されたものでなければならない．
6．掲載料
筆頭著者が本会会員である場合，掲載料は4頁まで一律10,000円とする．筆頭著者が非会員である場合は，掲載料として20,000円を徴収する．掲載頁数が4頁を超える場合は，5頁以降1頁につき5,000円を追加徴収する．別刷は30部まで掲載料に含む．

1. Aim of the Journal
This journal, as the official publication of the Japanese Society of Occupational Therapy Research, aims to provide a forum for reporting research in occupational therapy and related fields.
2. Eligibility for Submission
There are no restrictions on eligibility for submission to this journal.
3. Types of Manuscripts
Submitted manuscripts must be previously unpublished and fall into one of the following categories: “Original Article,” “Short Report,” “Practical Report,” “Review Article,” or “Others.”
Manuscripts may be submitted in either Japanese or English.
4. Acceptance of Manuscripts
Each manuscript will be reviewed by two reviewers, and the Editorial Committee will make the final decision regarding acceptance. Authors may be requested to revise or add to their manuscripts. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to make minor editorial corrections.
5. Instructions for Preparing Manuscripts
1) Authors shall make every effort to respect copyright and the human rights of research participants.
2) The manuscript shall consist of the following sections: title, author name(s), affiliation(s), abstract (within 400 Japanese characters), three key words, main text, references, figures and tables, and an English abstract.
3) Length of manuscripts:
・Original Articles: within 5,000 words (including tables and figures)
・Short Reports: within 2,000 words
・Practical Reports: same as Original Articles
・Review Articles: same as Original Articles
・Others: same as Original Articles
For the purpose of calculating manuscript length, each figure or table shall be counted as 250 words.
5) The manuscript type shall be clearly stated at the beginning of the manuscript.
6) All manuscripts shall be prepared using a word processor on A4-size paper and formatted clearly. Page numbers shall be included.
7) The main text shall, in principle, include the following section headings: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References (particularly for Original Articles and Short Reports). Numbers shall be expressed in Arabic numerals, and quantities shall be reported using the International System of Units (SI units) (e.g., m, cm, mm, mL, kg, cm²).
8) Foreign names (place names, personal names, etc.) shall, in principle, be written in the original language. Abbreviations shall be spelled out in full at first mention, with the abbreviation given in parentheses.
9) The reference list shall include only cited references and shall be arranged in the order of citation. Up to five authors shall be listed; if there are six or more authors, “et al.” shall be used. Please follow the format shown in the examples provided.

10) All figures and tables shall have titles and be compiled separately from the main text. The insertion points of figures and tables shall be clearly indicated in the text margin. Figures must be clear and suitable for direct reproduction. Sources must be clearly acknowledged for any reproduced or adapted figures and tables.
11) The abstract shall be within 500 words, including the title, author name(s), and affiliation(s). Authors are responsible for submitting a properly prepared English manuscript.
12) Copyright of articles published in this journal shall belong to the Japanese Society of Occupational Therapy Research
13) Research involving human participants must be conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and must have received approval from the appropriate institutional ethics review board. The manuscript should clearly state the name of the ethics committee and the approval number (if applicable). In addition, authors must indicate that sufficient explanation of the purpose and procedures of the study was provided to the participants and that informed consent was obtained voluntarily.
Research involving animals must be conducted in accordance with the institutional guidelines for animal experimentation and with appropriate ethical considerations.
In case reports, images, or other materials in which individuals may be identifiable, authors must take adequate measures to protect personal information and obtain consent from the individuals when necessary.
6. Publication Fees
If the first author is a member of the Society, the publication fee shall be 10,000 JPY for up to four printed pages. If the first author is a non-member, a publication fee of 20,000 JPY shall be charged. For manuscripts exceeding four printed pages, an additional 5,000 JPY shall be charged for each page from the fifth page onward. Up to 30 reprints are included in the publication fee.
